Basic AlterationsA great class for those who have garments that are too long, too big, just dont fit right. You need basic sewing knowledge for this class. Learn to hem pants, skirts, dresses. Basic mending–sewing on buttons and minor repairs. Some fitting tips too. Bring your garments to discuss and alter (time permitting). Advanced AlterationsThis class is for students comfortable with sewing and their machines who want to work on more involved alterations – zippers, rolled hems, formalwear, etc. The benefit of this class is to learn from the garments, alterations and fitting needs of the students.
Supply List:Sewing Machine and Serger (optional although it is suggested you bring your sewing machine/serger and accessory feet) Standard Sewing Supplies Your garments/clothing you wish to discuss /work on Threads, zippers, buttons which may be needed for the alterations. FeeThe fee is $35.00 per session or both for $130.00 for four sessions Schedule
