April Vacation Camp!
April Vacation Camp will be held the week of April 19th. Beginners should start with Sew Camp 1, while Sew Camp 2, Sew Camp 3, and the All Day Sewing Adventure are project driven, and may be taken multiple times. Sign up early since class size is limited. Some sample projects are shown below. Please note that the actual camp projects will be chosen based on student interest and abilities.
Sew Camp 1
Sew Camp 1Sew Camp 1 is where you begin! Learn to use the machine and complete your very own project! We will explore the sewing machine and how it works, learn basic stitches, basic sewing techniques, and identify notions that you will need. One possible project is a Drawstring Bag. This class is taught on our studio machines, and all supplies are included. Sew Camp 2In Sew Camp 2, you will further your sewing experience and increase your confidence. Complete a project to take home! Monday's projects include a Circle Coin Purse or a Funky Frame. Tuesday's project will be geared toward sewing for your 18" doll. This class is taught on our studio machines, and all supplies are included. Sew Camp 1 or equivalent sewing experience required. Sew Camp 3In Sew Camp 3, you will learn new techniques to increase your sewing knowledge and confidence. This class is taught on our studio machines, and all supplies are included. Sew Camp 2 or equivalent sewing experience required. Tuesday's project will be geared towards sewing for your 18" doll. All Day Sewing Adventure – WednesdayThis is a full day class for intermediate sewers who are familiar with sewing machines and sewing techniques. All supplies are included and please be sure to bring a lunch. Wednesday's project will be a Crazy Quilt Purse. Schedule
